For clinicians

Keep the program in view between visits.

SDR cycles the exercise cards you choose, at the interval you set, on any screen. Free. No app. No login.

Illustration of the display. One card at a time, at the interval you set.

What your patient sees

One card at a time, filling the screen. Each card carries a shape, a colour, the exercise name, a goal count and the steps you wrote or chose. The card changes at the interval you set, from 1 to 240 minutes. Quiet hours let the screen rest overnight.

The shape and colour come from a clock the founder hung on a wall for his father: a blue star at 12, an orange circle at 3, a pink triangle at 6, a green square at 9. A patient can match the shape on the screen to the card in their hand.

Set it up in a few minutes

  1. Open the web app.It runs in any browser. There is nothing to sign up for.
  2. Choose or write the cards.Pick from the card library, or write your own exercise names and steps. Put them in the order you want.
  3. Set the interval.Decide how long each card stays on screen.
  4. Copy the display link.Give it to your patient or their carer. They open it on any screen.

In the Name field

Type a first name or initials only. Please do not enter a surname or a diagnosis.

Two links, two jobs

The editor link changes the program, so keep it private. The display link only shows the program and cannot change it.

What it is and is not

  • You choose the exercises, the order and the interval. SDR only shows them.
  • SDR makes no clinical claims.
  • It does not record results, so there is nothing to report back to you.
  • You do not support the device or fix a patient's hardware. The web app needs only a browser.

Your data and theirs

What is stored
The program you build (the cards, their order and the interval) and the name you type. Nothing about whether an exercise was done.

For how long
A program is deleted after 120 days of no use.
Delete it now
Ask us and we will delete it.
Who can change it
Anyone holding the editor link, such as a family member you share it with.

The program cannot be recovered. Keep a copy of the editor link somewhere safe.

Safety and privacy in full

Alongside your usual tools

Use REPS, EnableMe, your own sheets or your practice software to teach the exercises. Use SDR to keep them in view.

SDR is not a clinic system. It has no patient list, no video library and no reporting, and it does not try to replace the tools you already use.

Questions clinicians ask

Is it a medical device?

SDR is a prompting tool. It shows the cards you choose at the interval you set. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor anyone, and your clinician decides the program.

Is there evidence?

SDR makes no clinical claims, and we welcome a clinician-led pilot. If you would like to run one, book a call.

Does it track adherence?

No. It does not record whether an exercise was done, and it sends nothing back to you.

What if a patient has no screen?

A phone, tablet, laptop or any TV with a browser will do. For a TV with no browser or no internet, the optional HDMI dongle plugs in and runs a program on its own. It costs A$299 including GST. See the dongle.

What does it cost the patient?

Nothing. The web app is free for everyone, and there is no per-seat fee for you either.

What if the site goes down?

SDR runs on a single Australian server, so brief outages are possible. The optional HDMI dongle keeps its own program and does not need the internet once set up.

Can a carer change the program?

Only if you give them the editor link. Without it they can see the program on the display link but cannot change it.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no account, no email and no password. The private links are the credential.

Who makes it

SDR was made by Bayani Mills in Dee Why, Sydney, after his father's stroke. It is built by one person and says plainly what it is and is not.
